Is it worth reviving? Someone is trashing this pan in our apt. I assume  it's carbon steel. Not sure if it's worth it or even possible to revive. We  currently don't own

Believe it or not, this is a well seasoned pan. It will do fried eggs or  omelettes just as well as any non-stick pan I have ever owned. The lighter  areas tell

Beginner here, Ikea carbon steel seasoning with vegetable oil in the oven  for one hour on 300F. The surface has become sticky. I washed it couple of  times before. Any advice? :
